A regular customer contacted us to make her a door. She had a special request. She wanted to make her coat closet into a dog kennel that could have an open window for air flow. She also wanted it to go with some of her more rustic decor. She had an even more unique request. She wanted the closet to appear to be a wine room from the outside.

We had some naturally weathered wood so we decided to make the door out of the pieces we had on hand.  As the door took shape, we knew that it had to have trim that matched the style of the door as well as special hardware. We found some great hardware through an online source so that was solved.

Once we got the door finished we then had to come up with some kind of wine rack that would suspend on the inside of the closet. We had more weathered wood so we used that for the panels and added some shelves for wine bottles. Voila!! It actually worked and it looks pretty cool.
