In 2013, I spent some time creating some personal art. I just let my mind wander and created colorful pictures. One I’d like to highlight here is the picture that is on the banner of My Personal Blog page here on my website.

During this time I was having many really crazy and random thoughts I was trying to process. At times they seemed very disconnected. I was struggling emotionally, I was in lots of transition and change in my personal and public life.

This picture represents all of that to me. The swirling circular images represent all of those wild and spinning thoughts. The green arrow at the bottom is my hope line. I needed to remind myself that all of my thoughts and transitions were moving in a life producing direction. It was all going to be okay.
